Let Your Voice Be Heard

“The City of DeKalb and its City Council are proposing to cut the Municipal Band out of its 2018 fiscal year budget. If this cut comes to fruition the DeKalb City Band and its 163 year history will come to an end. We need our audience members and supporters of this DeKalb Icon to step up and support our organization to show the City of DeKalb and its Council members how important this band is to our community. As supporters of our organization, please express your concerns to the Mayor of DeKalb and the City Council members as soon as possible. The members of the band wish our beloved band to continue in 2019 and many more years in the future. Please let your voice be heard!  Don’t let the music at the Dee Palmer Band Shell go silent.”

Sincerely,
Kirk Lundbeck
Director
