A Sycamore native, soprano Terri Crain Goodman is a graduate of Sycamore High School and Northern Illinois University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in both Music and Music Education. Goodman has taught choir and general music in the Mt. Morris, Oregon, and Sycamore school districts. An accomplished pianist, she has also served as an accompanist and musical theater camp instructor. She is currently a private voice teacher and serves on the board of directors for the Sycamore Pumpkin Festival and Stage Coach Players.
Goodman is extremely active in the theater, having both directed and held starring roles in numerous plays and musicals over the past 30 years. She has appeared most recently as "Marmee" with the Stage Coach Players of DeKalb in their production of "Little Women" and made her debut with Wheaton Drama last year in “The Mystery of Edwin Drood." Terri and her husband, Ken, a band director, have one daughter, Alise. She is excited to be performing again with the DeKalb Municipal Band for the 9th time.
